Knowledge Equity 2: UKRI One year on

August 17th @6.30pm

In August 2020, ten Black women involved in UK research wrote an open letter highlighting the urgent need for greater transparency, accountably and inclusion. Nearly 3,000 individuals signed the letter in support. To discuss the challenges and future actions, Dr Adelaine and colleagues met with representatives from UKRI on 8 October 2020.

This event will discuss what happened and how we can we organise collective action to support research and knowledge equity.

In this event, we will be broadening out from a specific focus on race to more broadly consider marginalised academics of different identities and accountability in research procurement and processes.

Details of this event may change as we are awaiting confirmation of other speakers (we have invited UKRI) and will update this page accordingly.

You can email your questions in advance by emailing and putting “question” in the subject.
